Should you really be glad that you have haters?
Personally, I'm saddened whenever I think on how many people have wronged me for no
reason at all. Actually it makes me angry. I mean we can all be so much more productive if
we loved each other, and helped one another to reach those heights unknown.
How many of you know that others will see the glory of God in you and know that you're
blessed, but still curse you and wish you away, and do all kinds of evil to get you to leave
from them (whether it be on your job, where you live, where you regularly visit, etc.) so that
they can be glorified, and have all the attention on them. This is the reason that God, the
Creator, was crucified on earth and told us that the world would also hate those who love
and obey Him.
In John 5:43 Jesus said to the Pharisees & Sadducees (rich religious leaders)
who continuously hated on Him,
"For I have come to you representing my Father, and you refuse to
welcome me, even though you readily accept others who represent only themselves. No
wonder you can't believe! For you gladly honor each other, but you don't care about the
honor that comes from God alone."
They didn't believe in Jesus because He claimed to be higher than they, although they
believed in Moses who was exalted higher than them. This is because Moses was not
present before them as Jesus was, consuming all their glory and taking their attention from
them, and also the monies they usually extorted from those that Jesus was healing.
Should we really be proud that our world is filled with hate, jealousy, selfish ambitions, etc., all of which come from our enemy, the Devil?
